Jim Krebsbach
Vice President, Sales
Territory: IL, MI, MN, ND, SD, WI
If you need Jim, you’ll likely find him outside putting his Bobby Flay grilling skills to work. He earned a bachelor’s degree in agronomy from the University of Minnesota more years ago than he cares to admit, but 31 years of experience in the ag industry should give you a solid guess. Jim believes TEVA stands out from its competitors with its systems approach to fertility. If you mention how great “Herb Brooks” is to him, you just might become his new best friend.

Heath Courtney
Regional Sales Manager
Territory: IA, MO, NE
Heath wishes more growers knew how important balancing the soil is. To that end, he uses his extensive experience in management consulting when he partners with a farming operation. More than 15 years at TEVA testify to the fact that his unfulfilled dream of becoming an astronaut wasn’t that bad of a loss, especially because ag work has helped him visit all but four of the 50 states. His hero and daily inspiration? Jesus Christ, hands down.

Brandon Isaacs
Regional Sales Manager
Territory: AL, IL, IN, KY, MS, MO, TN
Unfortunately, Brandon’s myriad nicknames aren’t suitable for print. Before working more than a decade in the ag industry, he couldn’t imagine how much competing in FFA at the state level would serve him in his career. The most valuable lesson he’s learned: “Never think you have it figured out. Nature has a way of humbling you.” His greatest enjoyment is seeing growers realize they’re heading in the right direction and toward higher yields while knowing WHY for the first time.

Mike Coots
Regional Sales Manager
Territory: FL, GA, IN, MI, OH
The other half of the Coots brothers, Mike was a coach for 20 years before changing careers. “I coach farmers now,” he says. Just as in sports coaching, he believes you should know and understand each of your clients and how to positively communicate with them. That means being honest about expectations: what’s possible and what’s not. His personal motto? “Be grateful in everything — especially rain and sunshine; there’s no substitute for those.”

Charlie Haubold
Agronomy Consultant
Territory: MD, PA
Charlie started life on a farm. He considered becoming a landscape architect, made a short stop on the University of Missouri’s swim team, and has been working in the ag industry ever since. The most rewarding part of his more than 20 years at TEVA, in addition to meeting new farmers and building deeper relationships with existing customers, is seeing farmers experience success.

Mitch Williams
Agronomy Consultant
Territory: NC, SC, VA
Mitch wanted to be just like his grandpa when he grew up: a man who farmed until he was 86 years old and never dreamt of retiring. He believes the days of the ‘shotgun approach’ to fertility/farming are over, but that small changes can make huge improvements. Like most smart, happy men, his proudest accomplishment is his family: a lovely wife who pushes him to be a better person and their sweet daughter.

Cody Meech
Agronomy Consultant
Territory: NM, TX
Cody’s childhood dream of becoming a Frito-Lay potato chip tester never came to fruition, but he consoled himself with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture. His personal motto, “A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence,” was perfectly embodied by his grandmother. She grew up with nothing, took chances when others would not, and outworked everyone in the room. She’s the reason his family farms today. Cody’s dream now? That farmers understand how deeply he cares about their success.

Micah Honick
Agronomy Consultant
Territory: OK
Also known as “Big Cat,” Micah is guided by the principle: “You don’t know the battles other people face every day.” He holds two degrees from Oklahoma State University and brings nearly two decades of industry experience. Throughout his career, he’s emphasized the importance of strong, collaborative relationships with farmers, serving as a dependable partner and trusted advisor across all aspects of their operations.

Brent Thornton
Agronomy Consultant
Territory: CO, KS, OK
Brent’s motto is “adapt and overcome,” which fits the ever-changing circumstances of farming well. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. More than 30 years in the ag industry have taught him the essential value of stewarding the land. Although he’s proud to be a husband, father of four and a “Pops” to seven, his hero is his granddad, a man of tireless effort as a farmer and cattle raiser.

Jared Stegman
Agronomy Consultant
Territory: KS
Jared took a straight line from his childhood aspiration of becoming a crop consultant to today. According to him, sometimes the best answer is to let Mother Nature do her job and get out of the way. Along those lines, he’s found that overthinking gets in the way of simple, effective answers. On a personal note, his wife is the strongest woman he knows, and he admires her more than anybody else.

Mark Coots
CEO
It should come as no surprise, given his Fu Manchu mustache and gravitas, that Mark is actually a lesser-known (albeit short-lived) movie star. Nearly four decades in the ag industry (and TEVA) have taught him that quality fertility programs start at the soil — with good data. He learned how to put others first in business relationships from his dad. That’s a big reason why he always prioritizes partnerships over products and helping over selling.

Caleb Coots
COO
Caleb is working his dream job: science + family. He has more than a decade of experience in the ag industry working alongside his father, as well as a bachelor’s degree in plant biology. The most valuable lesson he’s learned through his studies and work is that everything is connected. “We have to look at the system as a whole in order to make good recommendations and wise choices on the farm.” He’s most proud of his family: a wife with a heart to show everyone Christ’s love, and kids growing up to be kind, respectful followers of Jesus.

Heather Wade
Office Manager
Like many of us, Heather took a roundabout journey to her current career, after earning an undergraduate degree in fine arts from Arkansas Tech University. She loves supporting a team that genuinely cares and always wants to give the TEVA team and customers her best. Heather loves listening to true crime podcasts as a nod to her love of mystery novels. She’s most proud of her two incredible kids.

Mark Bussen
CFO
Mark’s story is a familiar one: He wanted to be a professional cyclist when he grew up but instead earned an undergraduate degree in finance & economics and an MBA and works in an office. While he still enjoys mountain biking, Mark’s current interest is formulating financial and investment strategies that enable sustainable, profitable growth. Mark holds the long view on finances and agriculture: He strongly believes rebuilding healthy soil is critically important to the ag industry.
